Sewing for Emily and Molly

I just got Emily and Molly this week. Then I ordered most of their new items with the code. WHY CAN'T AG make the outfits that appear in the books for the girls first?

I love Emily's blue PJ's and robe in the Molly books. I also love the blue matching outfits they had. I found blue flannel for the PJ's at Hobby Lobby, but no polka dot fabric yet.

Why wasn't Emily's meet outfit the green dress on the front of her book? I do happen to like her meet dress better though.

Anyway, I went to Hobby Lobby and lucked up on material. I found the "royal/navy" color of their matching outfits in a flannel material and an almost exact matching yarn. I don't know if I can ever get the sweaters knitted, but I will make them a jacket if I have too.

They also had a fabric at Walmart that will make the school dress that matches Samantha's gray buster brown dress perfectly. I am lucky enough to own that pattern. Now if I can get the dress made!

I was really inspired by the camel colored coat and hat! Now, to get off here and get busy with something...anything.

I was really looking forward to matching cardigans so they could play that they were princesses, like in the book. I too, wish they would make outfits like in the books. Maybe they match the outfits from the movie, though. Anyway, good luck trying to duplicate the sweater and dress.
